Create a 1/2 page to full page outline of your paper with details of where you want to take it:
- Identify your thesis statement or research question clearly
- Provide justification of why your thesis statement or research question is important
- Create an outline of the arguments you built from your sources and how they're related to each other:
- Define each argument in a few sentences
- Include a transition sentence between argument definitions to show how they are connected
Identify questions you still have, for instance:
- about your topic or your thesis statement
- about doing research
- about writing your research paper
- any other concerns or questions you have
