For Students - Digital Storytelling

Guide to help students create digital storytelling projects

Adapted from Samantha Morra's 8 Steps to Great Digital Storytelling

Storyboarding

Once you have an idea for your story, you'll need to work on planning. Since a digital story has multiple elements (audio, visual, and script), a traditional outline like you might create for an essay/paper won't take the visual and audio elements into account. To effectively plan all elements of your story, you'll need to create a storyboard.
