Resources for students in the College of Business

• Business Career Center (BCC): Open to all COB students (including pre-business students) and alumni. Services include career counseling, internship and job searching, mock interviewing, application material reviews, and networking opportunities. 

  • In addition to their specialized consultations, the BCC also provides valuable information on perfecting application materials and prepping for interviews on their Prepare for Internships and Jobs page. 

• Mitchell Business Communication Lab: The mission of the Mitchell Business Communication Lab is to help each student become a thoughtful writer and speaker. One-on-one consultations are available for resume help and presentation preparation. The Communication Lab is open to students in the COB, both undergraduate and graduate. 

Resources for all students

• Career Services: Provides UM-Dearborn students help with career exploration and planning, job preparation, and job search skill development. Services include career planning and coaching, help with application materials and interview preparation, and career assessments. Open to both current UM-Dearborn students and alumni. 

• Writing Center: The Writing Center supports UM-Dearborn students by providing one-to-one consultations on writing projects, presentations, assignments, and creative work.
