1. Go to Start Finding Sources and Find Articles to find peer-reviewed journal articles about your research area
2. Go to Write Your Annotations for guidelines and instructions on putting together your annotations
3. Go to Cite in APA Style for help formatting your citations in APA style: 
   • follow the In-Text Citations and Journal Articles links for guidelines and templates 

Hypothesis and Description

1. Go to Develop Your Hypothesis for guidelines and instructions on developing your research hypothesis
2. Go to Start Finding Sources and Find Articles to find peer-reviewed journal articles about your research area

Research Proposal (Draft and Final)

1. Go to Start Finding Sources and Find Articles to find peer-reviewed journal articles about your research area
2. Go to Analyze Your Articles to find key information in your research articles
3. Go to Use Your Articles for guidelines and instructions on using your articles to build your arguments and justifications for your proposed research study
4. Go to Write Your Introduction for guidelines and instructions on writing a compelling introduction and literature review
5. Go to Identify Methods & Populations to identify appropriate methodologies and populations for your research area and then find articles that justify the use of those methods and populations for your proposed research design
6. Go to Identify & Find Tests to identify appropriate tests and measures for your research area, find articles that justify the use of those tests and measures for your research design, and then find these tests and measures for your write-up
7. Go to Cite in APA Style for help putting together your citations and formatting your References List in APA style:

   • follow the Create an APA References List link and use the References list at the end of the Sample Student Paper

   • follow the Create an APA References List link and use the References list at the end of the Sample Student Paper

You cannot collect data or run analyses without Institutional Research Board (IRB) approval for any planned research involving human subjects. Go to the eResearch Regulatory Management Human Subjects application page and click on the Human Subjects Study Application button in the upper left margin to start a new application.
