Getting Help from the Mardigian Library

Additional Resources

You can find resources from the Mardigian Library, the UM-Ann Arbor and UM-Flint libraries. First, check the UM Ann Arbor catalog and use Get This, to request books and other media from UM-Ann Arbor and UM-Flint to be delivered to the Mardigian Library

View and request resources from other libraries through MeLCat academic and public libraries.  MelCat is the Michigan eLibrary, a 24/7 online library for Michigan residents. MelCAT allows you to order books, audio books, music, movies, and other materials and have them delivered to the Mardigian Library.

Mardigian Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan is for:

  • Books, dissertations, and microforms not available in the Mardigian Library.
  • Copies of periodical articles or short sections of books not available through the Mardigian Library's print or online collection.

Check the Library Catalog (for books) or Mardigian Search (for books, journals, and magazine articles) to make sure UM-Dearborn does not own the material before placing your ILLiad request. If the title is available in the Library Catalog you should place a Hold for the item.
