Follow the directions below to set up your Google Scholar account.

1. Go to scholar.google.com

2. Open the menu and select "Settings"

3. Select "Library links"

4. Search for "University of Michigan-Dearborn" in the search bar and select the check box next to the name. Make sure to select Save!

5. Now you can search within Google Scholar!

Advanced Search in Google Scholar

Select the menu icon and then "Advanced Search" to bring up the Advanced Search option.

Fill in the fields with search terms that interest you.

For example, in the image above I used the keywords criminology, mass media, acquitted and the exact phrase "Amanda Knox."
