Locating Books

There are several ways to search for books.  The library has both e-books and print books in its collection.

  • Mardigian Library catalog - search for books in our library collection
  • MeLCat - search for books from other libraries other libraries throughout the state of Michigan (including UM-Ann Arbor) through a service called MeLCat.  Search for the book (print only) you need, and make a request to send it to our library.  Books usually arrive in about 3-5 days.
  • MLibrary Search - search for books and other materials from the UMAA libraries.

This search will default to a keyword search.  Type in any words that describe what you are looking for.  Search by author's name, title of work, or topic

Other Options

If you are unable to find a book through our library or MeLCat, another option is Interlibrary loan.  We will send your request(s) to other libraries throughout the U.S. to borrow books.
