There are several ways to find journal articles about chemistry-related topics. Here are four ways:
- the search box on the library's home page
- ScienceDirect (one possible publisher's search engine)
- Google Scholar
Once you have found an article that suits your needs, there are ways to use that article to find more (see the Finding More Articles link on the left). If you find an article that sounds like it would be a great source for your paper or project, but you can't find it in any of the library's resources, we likely can get if for your through another library (see the Interlibrary Loan link). Finally, there are advantages and disadvantages to using the different search tools (see the Pros and Cons of Each link).
Tutorials for the search engines are included on the different pages. As a bonus, I show how to find articles using a chemical structure search in SciFinder!
