Formatting Your Thesis with Microsoft Word

This guide includes video tutorials designed to help you get most of the formatting of your thesis correct the first time. Using these videos to format your thesis will save a lot of time when it comes to having your format checked.

Citations and bibliography

Your in-line citations and bibliography can be created with free citation management tools that work with Microsoft Word, such as EndNote, Mendeley, RefWorks, and Zotero. However, you can also use Word as a citation management tool, automatically adding appropriate in-line citations as well as automatically creating a references list for your thesis — in the correct citation style.
