Good Jobs First: a DC based nonprofit policy resource center, whose mission is "to tell the complete story of what comes of the billions of dollars given to corporations each year in the name of economic development, and to chronicle how corporations treat workers, the environment, and communities." They have a number of useful resources, including:
- The Violation Tracker - a database tracking corporate misconduct, including 565,000 civil and criminal cases from more than 400 agencies with total penalties of $964 billion and select class action lawsuits. You can search for specific companies, or select "other summaries" to view curated lists of results.
- From the Blog - a searchable index of all Good Jobs First's blog posts. Try searching by keyword or sort by location or project.
- Corporate Research Project - A program designed to help organizations research and analyze companies and industries, aimed at increasing corporate accountability. Of particular interest is their analysis page, which provides context for the data found in the Violation Tracker.
MIT Sloan Case Studies: A range of case studies, sorted by topic, which have been made freely available by the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Cottrill Research Blog: This blog covers a wide range of business research related topics and is frequently updated. Topics covered in blog posts include sustainable supply chains, AI, and corporate social responsibility.
- NOTE: When searching for posts, I recommend using the "select category" tool to limit to posts relevant to your case.
