ANTH 307: Forensic Anthropology

Research Guide for ANTH 307

Citing Sources

You will need to cite all the sources you use in your story. Even though a digital storytelling project may feel very different from a more traditional assignment like writing an essay, Anytime you use the words, ideas, or work of other people, you need to give credit to the original creator.

Citation Styles and Approaches

Check with your professor to see if they have a specific citation style that they would like you to use. You can find more information on specific citation styles on the library's Citation Station guide.

When citing your sources, consider where your citations would fit best in your story. For example, if your story is slide-based, you may want to utilize footnotes on each slide. If this approach wouldn't fit well with your story, you could instead include citations in a "credits" section at the end of your story.
