  1. Go to Online Library Access for help and instructions on accessing library databases, articles, and ebooks online

Annotated Bibliography

  1. Go to Find Articles From Target Study to find articles which your target study article referenced and also articles which have subsequently cited your target study article
  2. Go to Find Psychology Articles to find articles about your research area 
  3. Go to Read & Analyze Your Articles to find key information in your research articles for your annotations
  4. Go to Write Your Annotations for guidelines and instructions on putting together your annotations
  5. Go to Cite in APA Style for help formatting your citations in APA Style
    • follow the In-Text Citations and Journal Articles links for guidelines and templates 

Research Paper

  1. Go to Find Psychology Articles to find articles for your Introduction and Discussion 
  2. Go to Read & Analyze Your Articles to find key information in your research articles
  3. Go to Use Your Articles for guidelines and instructions on using your articles to build your evidence, arguments, and conclusions for your Introduction and Discussion sections
  4. Go to Write Your Research Paper for instructions and guidelines on putting together each section of your research paper
  5. Go to Cite in APA Style for help putting together your citations and formatting your Research Paper and References list in APA Style
    • follow the In-Text Citations and Journal Articles links for guidelines and templates 
    • follow the Create an APA References List link and use the References list at the end of the Sample Student Paper

Human Subjects Research & The IRB Application Process

You cannot collect data or run analyses without Institutional Research Board (IRB) approval for any planned research involving human subjects. Go to the eResearch Regulatory Management Human Subjects application page and click on the Human Subjects Study Application button in the upper left margin to start a new application.
