Many professors use PubMed for their research. It includes citations to more than 34 million citation, and includes links to many of the articles. Some articles are freely available, but many aren't. If you use the link on the library's research databases pages, PubMed will link you directly to articles that the library provides access to. Without going through the library's website, you may be taken to a publisher's website and be asked to pay for the article.
