As of right now, I am working both in-person and remotely. So if you are in the library stop by the LRC (Library Research Center) and say, "hi". (If I'm not available, any of my wonderful colleagues can also direct you on your research journey.) If you are remote or need some in-depth help please set up an appointment for a Zoom meeting with me by clicking the "Email Me" button under my photo and letting me know some times when you are available.
I am looking forward to working with you in furthering all the academic pursuits of our campus!
There are many ways I can be helpful in your classroom as well as in your own research and academic pursuits. I can:
- Provide research or publication assistance to you or your students via chat, Zoom meeting, or in-person
- Create online research guides to help develop the specific research skills your students are working on and to colocate resources that will be useful for your class
- I already have created a general page of information relevant to each department which you are welcome and encouraged to share and use with your class: CIS; ECE; IMSE; MATH; and ME.

- Create or customize presentations which I can deliver in person, online, or asynchronously on a variety of information seeking, synthesizing, or scholarship topics e.g.:
- the research process,
- developing research questions,
- finding resources,
- evaluating sources,
- close reading and annotating sources,
- literature reviews,
- academic integrity,
- collecting and managing data,
- technical writing skills,
- publishing,
- citations of sources

- Become embedded in your Canvas course to offer point-of-need assistance to your students while they work on their assignments
- Help you plan ways of incorporating information literacy or background research skills into your course work
- Help locate and obtain access to books, journals, videos, etc you may need for your class (or your personal scholarship)
- Help with the thesis/dissertation format checking process and Deep Blue deposits
