If you are a UM-Dearborn student, faculty member, or staff member, you have access to ArcGIS Online, a cloud-based solution for making maps, analyzing data, and sharing and collaborating.
To sign in, follow these steps:
1. Visit the ArcGIS Online home page and click "Sign In"
2. Choose "Sign in with Enterprise Login"
3. Type "umich" and click "Continue"
4. Click on SELECT University of Michigan.
5. Sign in with your UM-Dearborn username and password.
6. If you got in, you should see a screen similar to the one below, and your name should appear in the upper right corner.
7. Many tutorials are available, including this one about volcanoes in Hawaii and this one about helping Houston prepare for a hurricane.
NOTE: When you are no longer a student, faculty member, or staff member, you will not be able to log in to the U-M enterprise account. You will want to make plans for this, see Options for your ArcGIS account after leaving UM-Dearborn.
