Bureau of Labor Statistics: The Bureau of Labor Statistics website houses data on a wide range of labor related issues, including wages, benefits, unemployment, and industry outlook.  

United States Census Data: Access the US Census data, searchable by topic and sortable by a variety of limiters including type, location, and year. 

Passport: Passport contains extensive industry, demographic, consumer, and economic data for many countries worldwide. Great resource for non-US focused searches. 

PolicyMap: PolicyMap is a geographic information system (GIS) used to understand U.S. communities. It includes access to an extensive collection of data which can be used to better understand communities. 

Statista: Statista provides access to statistics and studies gathered by market researchers, trade organizations, scientific publications, and government sources.

DBusiness: A local business magazine based in Detroit. You can review full, digital issues of past issues or read specific articles by searching by keyword. 

Crain's Detroit Business: This trade publication covers current news and analysis on Detroit-based businesses. It also includes interviews, company profiles, bankruptcies, and weekly reviews.
