COMP 106 - Writing & Rhetoric II

Find, evaluate, and cite sources for The Research Project.

Putting Together Your Citations & Formatting Your Paper

When you use someone else's words or ideas in your papers, you should create In-text citations (within the paper) and Works Cited citations (at the end of the paper). Each In-text citation or footnote should lead to a Works Cited citation, and each Works Cited citation should come from an In-text citation.

Use this sample paper to help you format your paper and put together the citations in your Works Cited list.
