*A note on the inclusion of Wikipedia:  Most likely to get an overview of the wars in this course you will look at the Wikipedia entry regardless of how the entries are viewed by the academy so they are included here in each war's section.  The main point of the inclusion of the Wikipedia entries is to point you to their phenomenal reource lists, in the form of reference lists, bibliographies, and further reading lists, that you can certainly utilize to help build your knowledge of any of the wars discussed in this course.  This is in keeping with the point of this LibGuide, which is to provide you with resources on the topics of this course.  Wikipedia does this smartly.  However, it is up to your professor as to how you can use the entry beyond using it as a resource list.  Refer to the professor and/or the course syllabus for instructions there.
